Health & safety guidelines

Covid

  • I wear a mask for your safety during pick up and drop off.

  • I sanitize all surfaces, tubs and tools after each dog.

  • If you are experiencing covid-19 symptoms please call and reschedule for after the recommended CDC quarantine time.

Emergencies

  • I always use the utmost care while working on your dogs. I take my time and groom each dog carefully.

  • Unfortunately and rarely, accidents can happen. In the event of an accident where you are not home at the time I will call you while on the way to the vet listed on your account. If your vet is closed I will go to the nearest emergency vet.

  • All of this is covered in the Agreement and Intake forms you will sign before your appointment.

Matted and temperamental dogs

  • Severely matted dogs will be referred to a vet for grooming for their safety.

  • Temperamental dogs will be referred to a vet for their safety. Severe stress can cause seizures in dogs and a vet is equipped to handle this.

Fleas

  • I do not accept dogs with fleas. If fleas are found on the dog mid-bath there is a $50 upcharge for the flea bath that is necessary. I then have to sanitize my whole van, cancel the rest of my appointments for the day, and bug bomb my van to insure the fleas will not spread to my other clients dogs.

Elderly Dogs

  • I will groom elderly dogs at my own discretion. Dogs with heart conditions will likely be referred to a vet for grooming.

  • The dog must be able to stand on its own. I will give them breaks in between to rest.
